Participants were encouraged to reflect on how societal norms impact their decision-making processes and self-perceptions, and to consider alternative paths that resonate more deeply with their authentic values and aspirations.
Together, the installation and dance performance create a multilayered dialogue about the pervasive influence of societal expectations and the journey toward self-determination.
By inviting active participation and fostering thoughtful reflection, “Trapped” serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of making decisions true to one’s own desires, away from the dictates of social pressures and stereotypes.
The confluence of interactive art and performance challenges conventional ideals, inspiring a broader discourse on personal liberation and the redefinition of what constitutes an “ideal life.”
